Port Frederick Lodge is located near Icy Strait in Northern Southeast Alaska, overlooking the fertile waters of Port Frederick and the Native Village of Hoonah, Alaska.
Port Frederick Lodge offers privacy, relaxation, fine dining and stunningly beautiful views and whale watching (yes, you can view Humpback Whales from the lodge on most summer days). How to Get Here
Air transportation to and from Hoonah is routed through Juneau, Alaska on either Wings of Alaska or LAB flying service. Air transportation between Juneau and Seattle is exclusive to Alaska Airlines. The Alaska Marine Hwy provides ferry service to and from Bellingham, Washington, as well as Juneau, Alaska and many other Southeast Alaska communities. |
What to Bring
Raingear, warm clothes, wool hat and rubber boots (top of your calf high) are essential Southeast Alaska items you must remember to bring with you or procure upon your arrival. Sunglasses, shorts, flip flops, thermos, binoculars and any personal items are also recommended. Please remember to bring your own day pack as this will ensure you and your essential items remain together throughout our adventures. |
